Breach of Warning Systems and Public Panic

One of the group’s most controversial actions involved breaching Israel’s missile alert systems. Arabic messages, such as the slogan “Khaybar, Khaybar ya Yahud,” were broadcast, along with the activation of emergency sirens, causing widespread disruption in schools and various settlements.

According to Israel’s National Cyber Center, thousands of citizens received warning and threatening SMS messages. While authorities claim these messages do not pose a threat to mobile networks, they have advised users to block the sender’s number.

Unprecedented Disclosures

In their channel, Handala wrote: “We accessed all your activities through the body cameras of security personnel, surveillance drones, and monitoring vehicles. Every move and interaction of yours has been under our watch.”

They claimed these breaches had been carried out silently for years and were now being revealed along with extensive accomplishments.

A Security Shock for Israel

In addition to the leaked data, other actions such as hacking the comprehensive shelter management system and triggering red alert sirens caused chaos across various cities. In a striking move, an Iranian Arabic-language anthem, “Khaybar, Khaybar,” was played on the loudspeakers of shelters and police pagers, while Handala’s team maintained full control of the systems.

Reactions from Israeli Authorities

Israeli cybersecurity officials have called this operation “unprecedented” and stated that they are investigating the extensive dimensions of this attack. In its concluding message, the Handala group emphasized: “This operation is proof of the vulnerability of systems you believed to be invincible.”

This cyberattack underscores the serious challenges Israel faces against complex and well-coordinated cyber operations targeting its critical infrastructure.
